A new blackcurrant, producing very heavy crops of medium sized berries late in the season. In commercial trials in Norfolk it was the highest yielding variety. The bush is vigorous and has good resistance to mildew and leaf spot. The fruits contain high levels of anthocyanins (thought to confer major health benefits) and have a typical blackcurrant flavour.
