Ceanothus Yankee
An ideal shrub for growing against a fence or wall, Ceanothus Yankee Point will brighten up any dark corner and provide varied year round interest. The light green leaves are bold in colour and in late spring, the shrub is covered in light blue flowers that attract many types of pollinators. It is ideally placed in full sun in a sheltered position, and prefers moist but well drained soil. In winter the leaves will remain, providing shelter for wildlife and colourful interest for the garden. Little maintenance is required other than a light prune of the evergreen foliage after flowering.
