Feed and water gerbera regularly throughout the growing season. In milder parts of the UK, these Gerbera are hardy outdoors, if grown in a sheltered position and provided with winter protection during particularly cold periods. In particularly cold areas it is preferable to grow gerbera plants in containers that can be moved to a frost free position during winter.

Hardy Gerbera 13cm

Growing Gerberas outdoors was virtually inconceivable ten years ago. Now these 2nd generation hardy Gerberas can be grown year round in the border! Gerbera ‘Sweet Collection’ produces plenty of classic daisy blooms that are twice the size of other hardy Gerberas, and make fabulous cut flowers. Blooming reliably from June to October, these wonderful clump forming hardy perennials make a big impact in borders and patio containers. Height and spread: 45cm (18″).

Collection comprises of: Gerbera ‘Sweet Dreams’, ‘Sweet Glow’ and ‘Sweet Honey’.
