Standard Euonimus Japonica Aureus Ball
Euonymus japonicus ‘Ovatus Aureus’ is very popular for all sorts of positions because it provides year round interest and is well suited to all positions (including cold, windy, coastal, exposed) and virtually all soils (all but the wettest). It provides the best variegation when grown in full sun but will also tolerate partial shade.
The leaves are broad and oval with dark green centres, fading to light green and then with bright yellow margins. Young leaves are generally golden yellow.
